I purchased this one-of-a-kind Turkoman rug in Peshawar. It was undoubtedly inspired by our C.I.A. backing (at that time) of the Mujahadeen Afghan rebels. The main design looks like it was inspired by the $100. bill. Naturally dyed wool pile on wool weft and cotton warp.
