Late 19th century piece in superb condition. Naturally 
dyed wool pile on ivory wool warp. Weft is ivory wool 
alternated with black wool or animal hair. 
Goat's hair is used to wrap four side cords. A very similar
quality carpet can be seen in 
Homer's 'Exclusively Baluch' plate 11.
