A semi-antique saddlebag with a number of distinctly Kurdish designs and a few, such as the chevron, that have been used in Tribal art for centuries. All wool except for the braided goat's hair side cords and the tassles which were used as cords to securely close the two storage compartments. The dyes are a mixed-bag with some chrome colors and others, as the aubergine, from natural sources.
